Icing On The Cake

PINTEREST.COM

Lots of my favourite blogs have recently posted about cake bunting, which is the sweetest thing ever! We think it's a great idea for festive feasts like Thanksgiving and Christmas, so have posted below some instructions about how to create your own and also a couple of links to lovely templates! Happy decorating!

Here's what you'll need:
- paper to print and cut little flags (use our templates below or create your own)
- twine, string, thread or ribbon (whichever you prefer, depending on the size of your cake and flags)
- bamboo skewers, straws or chopsticks
- scissors, glue
- a delicious cake!

Here's what to do:
- print and cut the flags
- tie the end of twine to one of your bamboo sticks
- gently fold the first flag over the twine and glue the inside to keep it in place
- repeat this for the other flags, remembering your spacing for each word (sometimes it's a good idea to position each letter before gluing)
- cut your twine at the right length and tie to the second bamboo stick
- position on your cake and enjoy!
