No longer just a hessian square, the humble tote bag has become a walking work of art. Long-time collector Jitesh Patel, who runs a design studio in London - started a blog, toteprints.wordpress.com, showcasing his favourite re-usable bags and recently signed a book deal.

Highland Angel Book Club

Last month, we decided to start a book club at Highland Angel HQ and our very first novel was The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, by Mary Ann Shaffer & Annie Barrows. We've read it, we've reviewed it and we loved it!

Out Of the Frying Pan

This is one of my favourite recipes - adapted from Jamie Oliver's noodle salad, it's a great mid-week dish and can also be served cold for yummy lunchtime leftovers or a pot luck dinner party dish. For the photographs, I made it with beef and brown rice but it also works well with noodles and chicken. I usually add an orange pepper and some peas to the dish too.
