All The Colours Of The Rainbow

Amazing Technicolour Website {Own A Colour}

Did You Know? On average, a computer or phone can display 16.7 million colours on its screen. You might think that's just a big rainbow, but the clever chaps at Own A Colour (www.ownacolour.com) have turned this colourful fact into something even more impressive. They plan to name each and every shade for at least £1, raising money for children's charity UNICEF.

Pretty in Pink - Highland Angel Rose

Their website is great fun and easy to use - this week we picked a pretty pink to represent Highland Angel and donated £10, which will buy three mosquito nets to protect children in Africa against malaria. The shade #9e2148 might just be a number to us, but with Own A Colour it can save lives.

To pick your own colour, visit www.ownacolour.com and select a special shade. Once you've named the colour and described what it means to you, you can choose an amount of money to donate. Dozens of celebrities including Frankie Sandford and Duncan Bannatyne have already picked their favourite colours, so why not join them?

UNICEF is the world's leading organisation protecting the rights of children and young people in more than 190 countries. Your donation will help them continue their work on everything from building schools in Pakistan and bringing clean water to Ethiopia, to providing immunisations in Haiti and responding to emergencies like the recent catastrophe in East Africa.
