Out and about in the Borders this weekend, we were suddenly seized (as ever) by the need for coffee and cake. Imagine our joy when the nearby village of St. Boswells turned out to be home to one of the best book/coffee shops we've come across. As well as the necessary sustenance, Mainstreet Trading (www.mainstreetbooks.co.uk) has a wonderful collection of books, gifts and antiques - if you find yourself in the area, don't miss it!
