Every now and then, it's nice to shake things up and we think The Beauty Department's take on the classic French manicure is an adorable twist! Let's get started...

1. Pick your favourite shades - you'll need a good, strong white and a sheer pink or peach.
2. Make sure your nails are completely clean.
3. Paint a classic white tip.
4. Using a little nailvarnish remover and a brush or cotton bud, clean up the edge of the line.

5. Below the white tip line, leaving a small gap, make a row of five dots. Begin with the ventre then two on either side.
6. Go between the white tip line and the row of dots and make four more dots, centred between the dots on the line below.
7. Wait for the dots to dry completely then paint a thin coat of pink or peach polish.
8. When dry, add a fast drying clear top coat. Et voila!
