When visiting the bright lights of London, there are so many sights on the city's skyline that you could be forgiven for forgetting to look down. But next time you visit the big smoke make sure to check your feet - because the Little People are everywhere.

Over
the past few years, street artist Slinkachu (www.slinkachu.com) has scattered hundreds of
miniature people across the streets of London, though many have gone
completely unnoticed by passersby.

The
"Little People" illustrate the feelings people have about living in big
cities - like our own daily lives, their stories are filled with
humour, tragedy, boredom and surprise. Slinkachu - a graphic
design student from Devon - says: "It should be a universal kind of
feeling that you get when you're just one tiny person living amongst
millions of people."

The "Little People Project", started in 2006, involved remodelling and painting miniature model train set characters. Slinkachu - who like Banksy, remains relatively mysterious - aims to encourage city-dwellers to be more aware of their surroundings. As well as being unique, quirky street art installations, Slinkachu's work can be enjoyed in a series of books, available at www.slinkachu.com/books.
