Reddy, Steady, Go!
George Clooney, Chanel, the Little Black Dress - there are some things in this world which will never go out of style. Red nail varnish is one of them - forever fashionable, always appropriate, yet tricky.
For many years I have hunted and gathered a collection of rouges. Some were discarded, others simply gather dust in a drawer while the lucky few have been by my side for several years.
From left to right -
1. 115 Red Black by Barry M. Requires two coats but is a classic, dark shade perfect for work or glamorous events.
2. 150 Glitter Red by Barry M. An extravagant style but one which I've owned for many years. Good fun but most appropriate on Halloween!
3. 273 Raspberry by Barry M. My all-time favourite shade. One coat or two, it rarely chips and is perfect for any occasion.
4. 42 Pure Red by Collection 2000. Letterbox red, requires only one coat and never chips. It's the perfect red, but not very subtle!
5. 322 by Miss Sporty. Quick dry and rarely chips, the perfect pink to make the boys wink!
